He approaches me.
His jaws gaping and his serrated teeth gleaming.
Steam billows from the pot and I pull off the lid.
He slinks down the chimney and prepares, to execute a masterful jump.
He vanishes into the pot.

The author's comments:
In “The Three Little Pigs”, the wolf blew down the first and second pig’s house. This is played from the perspective of the third pig, who in most versions of the story, boils the wolf to death.
