buckle up,

Ode to the Baseball field
It begins dreams, it breaks hearts
It starts memories, traditions, and good old fun
People will love it with all their heart
But even if you’re good to it, it won’t be back
Because it’s not its fault, it’s your for not trying
To be the best there’s every been on its dirt infield
I’ve seen it ruin lives, but also start revelations
The dream that everybody has, the way it picks who will be great
The way it picks whose heart to break
