We march on,
The pounding drums of war.
The beat,
An echo of our heart.

Guns fire, Swords clash
Far off horses neigh
The beat pounds through us.
Left.

Left. Right. Left.
A bomb is dropped,
The silence reigns.
The war is over,
Yet, the beat still throbs.
Left.
Left.
Left. Right. Left.
Return home.
Those are our orders.
But it is not an easy task,
The beat still echoes.

Nightmares, Scream
Shatter the night.
The Echoing Hollow
The beat will live forever.
