Two Worlds
Stuck between two worlds
Cold and hot, dark and light
Separated by land not by mind
Snow and heat
Both so different but can be so alike
Drama and school consume me everyday
Then to go home to issues array
Life is neither easy nor fair
I’ve learned the hard way
I can cry all I want
I can complain and desire all I want
But I shall always be in two worlds
It haunts me as a curse
I have made friends here and do not want to leave
But I can’t forget the others down there
Some things are easy to say when you have never been other places
And for those who have experienced it can cause a tear
And so either way I choose I will be burdened
With this heavy memory and knowing
I must live in two worlds and the mold is starting to harden.
