"New"
A rose stretches itself slowly.
Not rushing the experience.
The breeze weaves in and out of its delicate ruby folds, smoothing out their creases.
Its head peers to the sun and shakes to drop the dew clinging to it.
New warmth wraps its stem tripping over fresh thorns.
The leaves unfold themselves wary of the unknown and the rich soil sifts between outstretched roots.
