The world.

You were the only one to pass to me at the lunchtime basketball games;
A best friend.

You made me laugh in times of distress;
Thank you.

We raced in the pools on hot summer days, I could feel the current pushing against me but I kept going because you were at the end;
Encouragement.

We remember you day to day as we strive to go through hard times;
Why did this happen?

Your last words to us were true and dear, but no one had a sense that The Day was near;
1, 2, 3 hit it.


Years later, as I look back on all of this I realize that your presence sparked true bliss;
I miss you.
