dedication
She dances the floor and sways to the beat
She dances in time, flowing and turning
Her love is a song the rhythm her feet
Heart flutters, continually burning
She twirls and whirls and leaps the night away
The moon dances to the sky and back down
Falls on her ankle, dangerous ballet
Keeps her head up high, despite her breakdown
And when the music stops she does not stop
Not missing a beat, she counts in her head
Her crowd loses faith as they see a tear drop
Figured this was a waste, go home instead
Everyone leaves, it’s far past there “curfews”
Yet she continues to dance with nothing to lose.
