For so long I've hurt way too much
I've been fighting hard but I've lost my way
All it takes is that one little touch
And tears fill these eyes colored like blue jays
Just take my hand and hold it tight
Lean your head against mine
When our gazes meet my world fills with light
You're making me feel way too fine
If I could I'd stay like that forever
Just the two of us, breaking the laws
I feel so perfect whenever we're together
Looking like a slow dance set on pause
I know when you hold me in your arms
You're asking me not to leave
When your fingers stroke my face, the atmosphere warms
And I can really start to believe

thanks :) yeah i have a ton of sadness in my poetry and my life. not too much happiness but when im happy and i write it never turns out as well. whatever makes the ink flow though :)
