You made me laugh

You made me laugh-
a sound not so often heard now
as it used to be when you were here.
You were that moment of brightness
in my day that
pointed down the path i was meant to take,
but had momentarily lost sight of.
You were the one always there for me;
never judging me for what I's done,
and encouraging mee to be the best I can be.
You inspired me to go for things I never dreamed of.
And now you're gone.
I miss you.
