Guitar Music
I smile at the new music
 And pull out my guitar
 I start to tune it
I know where the notes are

 I finger a chord
 As I sight-read
Then I strike out the first note
 But there’s something I need

 To get the right not
 I hum the melody
 Then I am singing
It doesn’t sound too bad to me

 I pluck out the notes
At the end of the song
For my first time playing it
There weren’t too many notes wrong
