Mabuhay ang Pinoy (Long Live the Filipinos)
The Filipinos stand short and proud
Their heads held high and their voices loud.
God, family, and education are their top priority
Giving up in life is a definite minority.
Fiestas and gatherings every week or so
They're part of tradition, that you should know.
The foods of the Philippines are one of a kind.
Exotic and delicious dishes like sinigang are what you'll find.
My culture is rich in music and dance
And the people are as fashionable as those in France.
My culture has its roots from the Spaniards long ago,
But now it has evolved and will continue to grow.
Our barongs and mestizas will remain,
Our respect and honor for our homeland will stay the same.
My culture will flourish year after year
And "Mabuhay ang Pinoy" will be our everlasting cheer!
