I Bet You Didn't Know
You think you know everything by just one look,
Her family, what shes likes, even her favorite song.
It's just like judging a front cover of a book,
And I bet most of your judgments are wrong.
I bet you didn't know she loved model cars,
Or that her favorite color was blue.
I bet you didn't know how her life left her with scars,
Because you seemed to look right through.
I bet you didn't know the story behind her face,
Simply because you didn't care.
She got hit by a car in a drunk driving chase,
And ever since she couldn't fully repair.
