In a split second
the world stops,
save for that broken second hand
just now starting to move;
the world stops,
rebellious silence, still before,
just now starting to move
taking over all which moves
but is now still,
rebellious silence, still before,
seemingly never ceasing,
but is now still.
For the world is moving once more.
