Dark Becomes Light
Walking through the dark,
Blind and not able to see.
Then a light opens up to me,
Little by little I start to see,
Brighter and brighter it seems to be.
The light of life is revealed,
Will I look at it as real,
Or blind my eyes as before.
Be afraid to go through the door,
To see what’s never seen before.
If I pass thorough the door,
And take in the light to see,
Will I learn to live my life right or without darkness’s strife.
My eyes will see the true light,
Of how to live my life right.
Free of doubt about life’s purpose,
I walk in the light and know my way.
I can go on live day to day.
I see the path that leads the way.
The way I now know seeing as I can see.
Life has a purpose beyond just the darkened silence,
Of what life now seems.
Time to live in the day not in the hour seeing as each step gets brighter,
As the dark becomes light.
