forgive me for my insights but

it feels as though we're coming down to nothing...

our 'forever' is coming to an end and

our 'friendship' is meaningless, it's just something

that you and i just pushed aside

only to disguise the lies

made to persuade everyone else that you're an angel.

but i guess the joke's on me,

because i too

fell for your act. silly me

for never leaving your side and being there for you.

i thought we were in this together,

evidently it was always one, and never two.

i promised to not change, and that's exactly what I will not do,

but if you would like to continue to pull away,

then go ahead and do what you please.

the door is wide open,

no locks,

no keys.
