Untouchable
Untouchable
is the softness of the skin which
in bright, dewy fashion sits upon the face
 Soft set
 eyelash
ruby of the reddest red, the color my heart bleeds
And the tresses tumble down and they stick
 Precipitation in the eyes,
 Down, down to the hips.
 More than waist deep.

Tap on the marble and a clutch
Don’t jinx it, don’t jinx it, I am but soundproof

     for the last time

     until tomorrow.
What? Why the rain? This is so routine.
 Another lap around the track

 and down the finger goes

 Amazing!
for the ruby is giving off rubies
The swing in the park moving upwards
 with rejection on it.
Rubies in the sink – thank god for the waterfall.

 I am an icon,

     A truth.

 I am beautiful.

 Come.
Let us rejoice and be merry,
for I am so picture perfect.

Don’t touch me, don’t touch me, you foul thing.
