Laughter.
Photograph flashes
capturing eternal smiles
of those about to leave.
Hugs and almost-tears
ensnare them all,
even those
who boast
immunity to all emotion.
Three
long
years
went by so fast.
Too many memories
to hold on their own.
Instead
a memory of everything
is placed upon the shoulders
of them all.
Though they may go
their separate ways,
they will never truly
be apart.
They've shared
too much
for that.
