I'm my own person
That's all I'll ever be
I don't need my shadow
To come and cover me
I know how to talk
And think for myself
I like to go out
Instead of being shelved
My shadow comes out
It overpowers me
I try to run
I try to get freed
But it sticks like butter
That's stuck to my bread
I can't get this shadow
Out of my head
But then it occurs
Why try to fight
I should embrace
This shadow of might
I'm my own person
That's all I'll ever be
So now me and my shadow
Can become one...That's me
