Crossing this sea was
a fool’s job
The sea is treacherous and
holds dark secrets
The wind blowing around,
the waves smacking against the boat
Creating fear as the boat rocked back
and forth
Creating horrible noises of crashes, as if it
were thunder
Flashes of light,
and moments of dark
The howling of the wind moving through
The boat
Into the cabin
Moving everything around
Making a mess
With crashes and crashes,
booms and booms!
crack and crack!
smash and smash!
Flashes of lightning and unbearable thunder
Rain all around, flooding everything
Until you reach the other side
The safe side of the sea
