The end of summer starts a fall
a fall of leafs and all the griefs
of all that was lost and all that was taken
For a few seconds that we had been shaking
We saw people burn
burn into their death
we saw people jump off
to make it quicker than the rest
the same day comes
many years from the event
the one that tore our hearts out
and other hearts went
Now we shall stand high
and we will not lie
when we say in regret
We will never forget
