Thank You
You've done what you can
And it was more than I'd ever hoped for
So I must say thank you
But sooner or later, as always, life takes hold again
The dreams and wished you helped come true, I'll remember forever more
So I must say, thank you
You were not my dream man
You were nothing that i wanted
Yet you managed to wiggle through the tight lock
That sealed my heart shut
You made me fall for the unbelievable, the unimaginable
You changed me and taught me to really LIVE
SO I must say thank you
Then you taught me heartbreak
Shattering my dreams
Pretty fairy-tales no more
You did everything but leave me
Yet left I was, on the inside
Broken
Destroyed
For that I do not thank you
But I don't thank you
For I know the true meaning of love
