Stars and stripes forever,
wars raging on and on.
Do you think the wars will ever,
be done and gone?
Death, hate, blood.
Happy people playing,
children playing in mud.
Loving parents saying,
to children with adoring eyes.
Some people are dying,
others are beginning their lives.
Men and women serving,
in the dreadful war.
So you can be living,
in a country of such wonder and lore.
Stars and stripes forever.
