My Neighbor the Lawnmower
Every day he tends to his garden
Clipping the hedges
Watering the flowers
And mowing the grass
Moving back and forth
In an irregular pattern
Not rushing or slacking
Working at a perfect pace
Until everything is just right
No weeds or ditches
Or leaves or twigs
Just a perfect garden
Of flowers and tress
And the clippings of the grass
Left over
Blowing through the autumn wind
Moving along with cool breeze
As they fly by
In an irregular pattern
