Gracefully floating through the air
Caught in a never ending breeze
Stuck upon an invisible current
A castaway in a desolate life

Carried off as if to be weightless
To high to be pulled back-
Out of reach of those not pure

So many jump and reach out to the sky
Grasping at what they wish, they had,
Trying to fulfill hopeless dreams and ambitions

Only to come back down and find that-
The solid ground they thought to be stable
Has been pulled from beneath them

Thus eminent defeat
But, still they grasp out for what’s not there
Falling into an atramentous abyss called failure,
Rejection, in-completion of a meaningless life
A castaway in a desolate world
