Friendship from None
Crowded halls full of people,
All seem happy, all but one,
Because no matter how hard he tries,
There is friendship from none.
Some just stare,
While others just shun,
No matter how hard he tries,
There is friendship from none.
He goes home at the end of the day,
Even his family, they just make fun,
Alone in his room sitting,
And still there is friendship from none.
So he ponders to himself,
About what should be done,
And why nobody cares,
Why he has friendship from none.
He considers his options,
Of what must be done,
So now he will end,
This friendship from none.
Now he feels so very empty,
From the cuts he has just done,
That will hopefully end,
This friendship from none.
“The cut didn’t work!”
And now he feels numb,
Because he wasn’t even close,
To ending this friendship from none.
Now he’s full of anger and hate,
“I’M NOT THE ONE!
IT’S ALL THEIR FAULT!”
This friendship from none
So now he has this dreadful cause,
As he carries his gun,
To payback the pain,
From the friendship from none.
As he enters his class,
With the deed almost done,
So close to ending,
The friendship from none.
But the new kid walks up,
Will she add to the shun,
But no… she has a smile,
And he has the friendship of one.
He puts the gun back,
It was seen by no one,
It no longer has purpose,
Because he has the friendship of one.
Because of his new friend,
He now sees the sun,
Who would have guessed the power,
Of the friendship of one.
