Christmas Memory
In time they’ll grow
In time they’ll part
In time they’ll move away
But I wish this tiny picture box could captivate this day
For Santa’s gifts have brought them joy
These gifts they have received
Who snuck these gifts into their house?
St. Nick they do believe.
Cookies on the fireplace
Their stockings on the wall
This is the greatest holiday
The greatest of them all
A truck,
A doll,
Some tinker Toys,
Some toys for on the lawn
At least I’ll have this picture
For the days that they are gone
