Some silent rain wishes
Don’t remember the last I played when it rained
Or splished and splashed around on the wet terrain.
Don’t remember the last I sailed boats when it rained,
Without a thought about what I have lost or gained.

Now I just see others doing so
 Sailing paper boats like virtuosos
As I stand still with my eyes closed,
With drops trickling between shriveled brows
Exactly like some soiled linen under running tap
Which about its own fibres has lost track.

I stand getting drenched and still
Wishing for the rain to wash away
Wash away all the pain and all the hurt
That ever to my soul had occurred.
Wishing for the rain to wash away
Wash away all the tears and even its trace
That have taken residence on my face.
Wishing for the rain to drain out
Drain out all my flaws and all my stains
That has made me misunderstood and also vain.

Getting drenched and wishing under the rain,
As if my wish will be fulfilled.
As if the darkness will be killed.
