The Center of Greed
Money: A sin awakened from mans greed.
The gringe of its touch; the mind tricks it plays.
Man tries to stay away but can't indeed,
For it's a raging addiction man pays.
All the money in the world makes man poor.
They must scrounge and dig for every last dime.
Opportunities close as does a door.
Their eternal clock is about out of time.
Those fools; they wasted their time with money,
Until they had nothing left but to resent.
Their days are numbered and are not sunny.
If only they had a new body to rent.
So long as man will choose money and greed,
Their bodies will lay rotting like a seed.
