A True Friend
My friend waves his tiny nose in the scented air,
    he trots to and fro, not knowing where to go.
    In this whole world, he has not a care.
    He's much more than the average Joe,
    He'd follow me here or follow me there.
    He's my most loyal friend, that I know.
    His floppy ears rise and fall,
    His tongue hanging from his lopsided jaw.
    His locks blow in the chilly gale;
    A lood in his eyes seems to tell you all.
    He looks so noble it puts you in awe.
    When I walk by, he lovingly wags his tail.
    The beauty is, he'd do anything for me.
    With my friend is the best place to be.
