A Pant's Life

December 11, 2007
By Anonymous

Clean, neat, and happy
Swaying in the breeze of the summer’s day
Clinging tightly to the hips of a young girl

Classes pass by and by
Wrinkled by the changing of chairs
Black slash brushed on by a stranger

Self-conscience pleading
Uncertain of what will come next
Dingy and sad from the trek

Thrown dead on the ground
Feeling gray as dusk turns to night
Worn, torn, and miserable

Carried into the gloom
A liquid drowning the sorrow
Tossed away for an hour in a dark hole

Clean, neat, and happy
Swaying in the breeze of a new day
Clinging tightly to the hips of a young girl
