I Will Remember Her

Excited, happy, funny, and cute,
Her energy is amazing.
She gives me a good hoot,
And I am glad she is mine.
I have always wanted a puppy,
But never gotten one so special as this.
She loves to snuggle up to me,
Who knew such happy things exist?
Sometimes she gets into trouble,
And sometimes she acts wild.
But I still love her,
As a mother loves her child.
Even after I grow up,
And move on ,
I will still remember her,
Long after she is gone.
