Step through the looking glass, just swim through the shards,
To Alice’s wonderland where your dreams blind,
To an internal straight jacket your soul guards.
Pool into the cushioned place of the mind
A false asylum where fears are deceiving,
A coiled prison where memories are bind.
Has anybody told you you’re not breathing?
Dancing on that fragile cord and all you fear
Is the burning truth that from you is seeping.
Hiding behind something that’s no longer there
A dark world and nothing can find you in here.
