Broken Family

I am running,
I am jogging,
I am trying to escape.
BANG! I hear the glasses breaking
CRY! my mother’s heart is aching
SIGH! Now my fathers taking
the keys and heading out the door.
WHY! is this happening to me,
HOW! could this have come to be,
NOW! my life is incomplete
my family is broken.

a great poem, but a bit disturbing. However, very true for so many young children in broken families
