Goodbye Pain

Tears,
sliding down my cheek.

Pain,
pumping in my chest.

Lies,
running through my mind.

When will this stop?

can't
grasp
reality.

"We'll be okay."
No, we really won't.
Don't LIE to me again, Dad.
No more.
I want to hear no more.

Running,
to my room, my heart pumps pain.

I
need
to
get
the
pain
out.

Blades,
sharp to the eye, blunt to my severed skin.

Blood,
so beautiful on the carpet.

The pain has been released;
out of my heart and soul.

Goodbye Pain.
See you tomorrow, in this empty world.

life had i loved the more
had it but passed away
