Kill Joy
Death.
Black.
And gold.
People,
In hypnogogic states.
Nature,
Moving under stars.
Requiems being played.
The living,
Looking for tourniquets for their hearts.
The dead,
All causing tears.
Nights,
Full of loneliness,
Wishing for amnesia.
Wishing to forget.
Death.
Black like the night,
Bleak like the thoughts.
Death.
Gold like the songs,
Gone like the hearts.
Golliwoggs,
In the arms of the children.
Wraiths,
In the dreams of the willows.
Whispers,
In the ears of the forgotten.
Angels,
Dead and black,
Tortured
Crooked
Monstrous
Walking in streets,
Sighing their song of death.
