Tear-Dripping Ears
Forlorn face,
Yet no one notices.
A sad aura surrounds her,
And I see it.
You think she's just fine,
Because there are no tears.
You fools,
The tears aren't in her eyes.
They are in her ears.
For every word you say,
Reminds her of him.
Every word remembered.
She doesn't want to hear it again.
For she knows he's gone.
Her ears,
Crying,
on every word.
The last thing she's got,
Is memories.
Shut off her tear-dripping ears,
For she's done remembering
