When
Anger. Sadness. Hate. Desire
Always Hidden.
Buried.
Too much experienced,
To be healthy.
For years, quietly seething,
Constantly
Bringing the mix to a boil.
How will it be released?
Will it be quiet? With restraint?
Keeping him safe?
Or
Explosive and violent,
An angry volcano
Harming him and
Anyone else who’s close?
Time passes,
Restraint grows difficult.
More and more is bottled up
With no release.
Building pressure.
Disappearing trust.
Blinding fury.
The result is inevitable,
The only question:
When?
