"Poets"
So many supposed poets,
Yet few are any good,
I guess i gotta deliver the plate,
As well as cook up the food,
Writing one good line,
Doesn't make you a master,
Look deep inside your mind,
To know exactly what you're after,
Some say you have talent,
But that doesn't mean skill,
Any one can pass a test,
But only so few will,
Stop stretching your brain,
And look deep within your heart,
Let your poetic soul fly,
And you'll release a work of art,
Not saying I'm amazing,
I just update on my lyrics,
Creativity is my voice,
And others seem to love to hear it,
And if i hear roses or violets,
Start another poem again,
Then I'll snap my pencil in half,
And forget all about the work real poets put in,
This is just my message,
You can poke or make fun,
You can even get mad,
But I've already won.
