for i have failed to much to stay
i have left you to face
what i could not face
a play by play of our everyday
i have walked
away from your tears
and left you to be devoured
by our biological monsters
i know i have failed to say
i left you to burn in brick
so i could live in peace
and piece by peice
you fell astray
dear darling
could i reverse the pain
that you will grow from
i would hold it in my hands
for birds to feast upon
i left you to our blood
to our demolished home
know i have failed you
i have left you
so they cant hurt me too
