We're fools whether we dance or not
I wanna dance until my feet bleed the blues,
swagger on the dance floor,
hopping to the hip.
I wanna tap to the rhythm of the night,
shaking my shimmy until the sun comes up.
I wanna point my ballet toes towards the DJ-
play that funky music,
so I can twist and shout.
Cha- cha
change that beat, White Boy,
I wanna whip out my snake hips
and D.I.S.C.O.
I wanna Krump and Pump to the pulse of the amps.
I wanna Rock, tick-tock- you don’t stop
because we’re fools whether we dance or not,
so we might as well dance.
