Not being in love gives me the freedom
To flirt without feeling guilty,
Hug without feeling like a cheater,
And be who I want without feeling like a liar.
Not being in love
Makes me feel
Detached,
Unloved,
Heartless.
Pain doesn't begin to describe
How I feel at this point in time.
All I know is
I don't know how
I'm going to survive.
It used to be,
"I wish it was
Something more
Than it is now."
While now,
It's a hole in my heart
I feel someone has ripped out
Overnight.
There is an emptiness
In me,
And only one thing,
Can cure it.
