Facebook: A Children's Story
Theodore Lee wants to see
 What facebook holds
 He begs his mother
 But she’s not sold

 “Take a look little one
 To have online fun
 You must finish three goals”

“Golly gee sounds like fun to me!” said Theodore Lee and his mother began to list the three.

“One: Make your bed young Ted
And then come back to me”

 Theodore went to his room
With a rush and a zoom
 He fluffed his pillows
And tidied his blankets nice and neat
 Running back to his mother
 With his first job complete

“Two: Make sure your puppy is well fed young Ted
And then come back to me”

Theodore ran to the puppy bowl
And filled it till it was heaping full
 He poured the water
 And called his dog
 Running back to his mother
 Done with his second job

“Three: Make sure you have your homework well read young Ted
and then come back to me”

Theodore hurried to his school bag
Bringing it to his desk with a drag
 Opening an adventure book
 He sat down to read
 About courage and bravery
And imagination grew like a seed

After an hour the mother checked up on him saying

“Come look, I pulled up facebook”

Theodore stared at his mom and said
“Mom can’t you see I have my face in a book?”
