The Ocean Life
As I gaze upon the ocean gray
The waves against the rocks crash.
They go out
Come in
Go out,
Come in.
The majesty of foam and surf,
The whiteness and the silhouettes,
They go out
Come in
Go out,
Come in.
Orange, and purple, pinkness glory.
Blues and browns, greens shine forth.
They go out
Come in
Go out,
Come in.
Turning tides, high dry - wet, and full of life.
Crabs, fish, snails, shells.
They go out
Come in
Go out,
Come in.
Dolphins leap, sharks swim silent.
The bright moon gazes down on sleeping fish.
They go out
Come in
Go out,
Come in.
And then the morning - gloriously bright
Leaves the shimery, shiny night.
There was a day at the ocean gray,
The wilds, the tames, and it's still here today.
