Go Away
I hate all of the carols and merry kids dancing,
The traffic and noise and people all prancing.
I hate the wreaths, trees, and Santa’s Sleigh,
Yet none of them will ever go away.
I hate presents under the tree and the terrible weather,
Holiday time is as fake and cheap as pleather.
Forget about the shopping and sitting by the blazing fire,
Throw away your gift list and quit the choir.
Isn’t it obvious the holidays just stink?
The only thing your joy has brought me is a shrink.
