You
Imprisoned by your own gates
Hanging by your iron chains
Stabbed by the sword you forged
You brought this turmoil upon yourself.
You fooled yourself with false hope
Burning yourself in the flames of hell
Weakened by your loss
Of what you took from yourself
Not even the silence can hear your yell.
Your hands bound and feet weighed down
By the stones you tied yourself
Dropped into the roaring red water
As your last thread of hope snapped.
You brought the walls crashing down
Crushing yourself beneath the crumbling stone
You chose to sail right through the storm
To be bruised and battered
Bloodied and shattered
Imprisoned by your own gates
You only have yourself to hate
No one else can set you free
For only you have the key.
