The Footprints Of My Past
Giving all my broken tears,
to the ground below my feet.
Nothing compares to who I am,
or who I am next week.
My tears fall for the sky,
to find my dreams have become a lie,
dreams upon my feet.
My footprints of my past seem to get washed away.
The footprints of my past never seem to leave, go away.
The footprints of my past leave me little scars;
those footprints make you who you are.
The footprints of who I am,
never seem to leave, not stay,
the footprint of who i am,
is who i am today.
