She is a Rock
She is a rock,
Strong and unmovable.
She cannot be knocked down by any force.
I envy her.
She is tough,
With no tears to be shed,
Or wounds to be healed.
She is stoic,
With no feelings to be hurt,
Or taunting to put up with.
I wish I had her strength,
Her sheer will,
that won’t allow anyone to bring her down.
But then again,
I pity her.
She is lifeless,
With no emotion to be felt,
Or love to be shared.
She is speechless,
With no words to be said,
Or laughter to be heard.
She may not be the one to get her heart broken,
But I will be the one to have mine healed.
