Stage Fright
How I hated to be in that spotlight
Now that the whole wide world was watching me
I had nowhere to run from all my fright
That everybody sitting there could see
As I trembled before their naked eye
My mouth could not open to say a word
Inside of me I felt my own voice die
My bravery was prodded by a sword
My cheeks transformed into a flaming rose
I pushed myself to face my biggest fear
Condemned to do the hardest thing I chose
I sent my thoughts out of the atmosphere
So I started with the first note of song
My heart making each note forever strong
