The flowers in the fields
Blowing in the wind
All alone.
Like the rotten apples that fall from the tree
That were left unknown,
Unappreciated.
Following the pathway that never seems to end
Into the dark forest
That everyone is scared to enter
It’s time.
Get ready to face the unknown
That resides along the path
All of those we have lost on the way
Who have disintegrated through our fingertips.
Never forgotten,
They watch over us
Like a hawk searching for its prey
Waiting.
