The scars are there, life is real
I can listen, but you can't hear
Your mind blocks the intelligence
You've lost all of your common sense
Strewn across my bedroom floor
Are the times you've walked out the door
Leaving with no place to go
You stand outside in the freezing snow
Waiting for your second chance
To see if you can really dance
Finding yourself nearly dead
You give yourself a slap on the head
And come back inside to finally see
That I've forgiven you and you love me
